In-House Scanning:
Microfiche Cards, 16mm Roll Microfilm, Jacketized 16mm or 35mm Films and Aperture Cards
Scanning price is per scanned image and varies based on your film type and condition
Black & White only at industry standard 300 dpi
Files can be batched by microfiche card, by aperture card or by blip on roll film

We can scan approximately 1,500 aperture cards per day
20-30 rolls per day
250-400 Microfiche cards per day
Images are converted to searchable pdf or basic .tif images

Files are named according to the roll, fiche or per file with advanced indexing
Reasonable pick up and return delivery (from $50 and up depending on distance)
Indexing (file renaming) can be done based on some field on the document or we can batch entire rolls as one file or as single image files. Microfilm can be complicated and a phone discussion is recommended for a quote for this service
Scanned file delivery

16gb flash drives are $25 each (16 gb can hold appox. 100 boxes or more)
Cloud transfers are $10 each (used for jobs on the smaller size)

Post scanning destruction of the film if requested. Price is based on volume

On Site or On Location Scanning:
Microfilm scanners are very expensive and sensitive equipment. No On location scanning is performed by our company for this service

During the 20th century, many businesses and organizations chose to copy information on microfilm to save space in their offices and storage facilities. During that time Aloha Copy filmed millions of images to microfilm and microfiche. These films were utilized for long-term or permanent record storage with retention periods in excess of 15 years. Although microfilm pages can last for decades, the wear and tear of time can lead to the films becoming worn and difficult to view, especially when they have been placed within inappropriate storage facilities. In todays environment, many organizations are choosing to convert all microfilm to digital images to provide storage within Electronic Records Management Systems and immediate network or web access for records requests. The scanning is done with industry leading, state-of –the-art fiche and roll film scanners. We scan at 300dpi and use industry level software to crop and manipulate the images to get you the highest quality image possible. We can provide both bi-tonal and gray-scale images
